In 1997 S.V. Boshno defended the dissertation for the degree of candidate of juridical science, which presented the research on the topic “The Legislative Initiative in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation”. In 2005 she defended the doctoral dissertation on “Forms of the Russian Law: Conducting Theoretic Legal Research”. Doctor of Juridical Science, Professor. S.V. Boshno worked in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Since 1996 she has been working in RANEPA. S.V. Boshno started to work as a senior lecturer, now she heads the Chair of Political Science and Law at the International Institute of Public Administration and Management (IIPAM) of RANEPA. She is an expert of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, an accredited expert on anti-corruption activities at the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, President of the Fund “Consulting and Legal Protection of the Population”. S.V. Boshno published more than 170 monographs, educational books and articles. Six candidates of juridical science were prepared to successful defence of their dissertations. She acts as a consultant in difficult court cases with regard to disputable laws. She participated in sessions of the Constitutional Court, the highest judicial agency of the Russian Federation. For five years S.V. Boshno has participated in preparing reports of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly (Senate) of the Russian Federation. She takes part in seminars for representatives of different public authorities, namely: the State Duma, Federal Migration Service, Federal Service for State Registration, Cadaster And Cartography, Rosatom, Russian Federal Space Agency Roscosmos, as well as for members and officials of foreign parliaments. She is the author of the method designed to analyse efficiency of legal norms by means of sociological tools. She has conducted a number of large-scale social studies on judges of the Russian Federation, and other civil servants. S.V. Boshno takes a public position of an academician of the Academy of Safety, Law and Order. In 2006 she received the grant of the President of the Russian Federation as a young Doctor of Science to write a monograph.
